The Singing Gorillas were a series of animated novelty items made in 1997 to 1999. They came in both sitting and stading variants. When activated, each one moves their head and mouth while singing a different song and some of them have monkey noises edited into the songs. (Harry D. Ape & Rocky Gorilla)
Sitting Gorillas[]
- Harry D. Ape (Both Versions) - "Hot Hot Hot"
- Rocky the Rockin' Gorilla (Both Versions) - "Great Balls of Fire"
- Jingle Jungle Jim - "Jingle Bell Rock" and "Up on the Housetop"
NOTE: Some editions are sound activated, while others are activated by pressing the left hand.
Standing Gorillas[]
- Sports Gorilla (College Teams) - "Rock n' Roll (Part 2)"
- Sports Gorilla (Original) - "Rock n' Roll (Part 2)"
- Tony Valentino - "That's Amoré"
NOTE: The standing gorillas can be posed to sit as well.
Trivia[]
- Singing Bears were also produced.
- Some other Gemmy products also use the recordings of the songs from Harry and Rocky (mostly Halloween) such as the Talking Groom Skeleton and the Howlin' Tombstone still featuring the monkey noises.
- Jingle Jungle Jim has the same recording as the Dancing Douglas Fir tree.
