Hip Swinging Santa

The Hip Swinging Santa is an animated Christmas figure made from 1998 to 2001. Santa wears a white shirt with a very dark green vest over it that has 2 gold buttons on it, red pants with fur around his ankles and black boots, his signature red hat on his head, and glasses. He swings his hips back and forth and moves his arms up and down while singing "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" or "Here Comes Santa Claus".

There is another version of this item that wears red pajamas.
Starting in 2000, the Santa no longer has a base, and the button is between his feet. Multiple models have plastic heads as well.
The Hip Swinging Santa sold in Canada sings an alternate recording of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" with different vocals, and it’s black vest is sparkly.
There are other variants that were sold in the UK as well. One of these variants features Santa in a red show suit and matching pants, and he holds a microphone in his right hand (Which is inanimate and posable), and only moves his right arm.
Several miniature versions were made as well.
A French version was produced featuring either the song “Bon” from the French Spinning Snowflake Snowman, or the two songs, “Jingle Bells” and “The 12 Days of Christmas” from the French Douglas Fir.
There are several different outfit variations of the later small based version.
A Swedish version was produced featuring the two songs, “Hej tomtegubbar slå i glasen” and “Nu år det jul igen”.
