The Life Size Jason Voorhees (2007) was an animated Halloween decoration made from 2007 to 2009. Jason is based on his appearance from the 2003 film “Freddy VS Jason” and is wearing a brown torn jacket, a black shirt, gloves and pants, a removable hockey mask, and is holding his machete. When activated, the head, eyes and body move as the machete arm raises while his signature “Ki Ki Ki Ma Ma Ma” noises can be heard.
Trivia[]
- When first produced in 2007, the arm holding machete was only operated using a belt driven gear. This led to the arm often slipping or the belt breaking and rendering no movement. Some later versions used the same system, except the belt was absent and the pulleys instead had gears molded beneath them making the arm gear driven.
- 2007 models also feature a lot of hair compared to the 2008 and 2009 models.
- This animatronic was part of the first theme at Spirit Halloween, called the Fright Zone.
